A live TV program in Yekaterinburg in the Urals will show 8,000 drummers drumming synchronically in a low-tempo heart-beat manner.
This will happen on June 18 during the Drums for Peace international festival with musicians from Russia, Europe, India, Namibia and other countries taking part.
An African legend has that if 8,000 drummers come together and drum their tam-tams simultaneously, they can harmonize the pulse of the planet, and then all nations will live in peace.
