9/13/2013 -- Large eruption at night -- Sakurajima Japan -- Static Discharge Lightning

 Over the past several weeks (going towards a month) we've seen multiple large eruptions at Sakurajima volcano in Japan. Causing damage to the town on the other side of the bay.

The largest eruption in Sakurajima history happened on August 18, 2013 (less than one month ago).
