Landslide buries house and obstructs traffic in Myagdi

MYAGDI: Landslide buried a house in Myagdi district on Tuesday night.

The landslide falling 100 meters above from the house buried the house of Dil Bahadur BK of Ghara VDC-8 in the district.

According to Police Post, Ghara, all 10 family members, who were sleeping at the house at the time, were able to escape from the incident but the landslide destroyed all goods including clothes, food crops and others.

Meanwhile, landslide at Phaparkhet obstructed traffic on Beni-Darbang road section from this morning.

Vehicles plying towards Darbang from Beni and Beni from Darbang have been stranded at Tatopani and Simalchour respectively.
