Floods caused by heavy rains swept away houses and bridges in China's southwest Sichuan Province, state media reported. Torrential rain started to pummel Shifang County of Deyang City on Monday evening, state broadcaster CCTV reported. CCTV showed amateur footage of a factory worker attempting to cross the fast-flowing waters as a houses collapses behind him. Over 200 factory workers and local residents have been moved to the safety, CCTV cited local police as saying.
