The geomagnetic field status box will read any of the following statuses: Quite, Unsettled, or Storm! When the charged particles from a solar flare actually hit the earth the geomagnetic field box will be red and read Storm! The status unsettled means the geomagnetic field is still unstable from a storm. An example of a ideal time to conduct paranormal investigations would be if the x-ray flare and geomagnetic storm monitor reads as follows:
