Could Nostradamus actually have made a prediction about the death of Osama Bin Laden hundreds of years before it happened?

Breaking News: Nostradamus accurately made the prediction that Osama Bin Laden would be killed hundreds of years before it actually happened!

I knew it wouldn’t take too long after the death of Bin Laden for headlines like this to show up. It seems like every time there is a major news headline regarding an important news story that affects the world, someone claims that Nostradamus accurately predicted it in his quatrains hundreds of years ago. It is the following quatrain that believers are pointing to with the claim that Nostradamus predicted Bin Laden’s death:

Quatrain 2:62
Mabus then will soon die, there will come
Of people and beasts a horrible rout:
Then suddenly one will see vengeance,
Hundred, hand, thirst, hunger when the comet shall run.

This quatrain also supposedly points to the third Anti-Christ and a time of suffering for the Earth. The name Mabus is supposedly an anagram for Osama Bin Laden’s name which believers say is proof of the quatrain’s accuracy. Most believers also say this points to a time of war and revenge from supporters of Bin Laden and the world will engage in the third great World War. It is also believed that this quatrain points to a possible comet strike or a nearby approach that will cause great destruction to the human race and the Earth too.

So, is the above quatrain proof that Nostradamus really predicted the death of Bin Laden hundreds of years ago? I will leave that question for each person to ponder and make their own decisions. I, for one, am not at all sold on the idea…….

About The Real Signs of Time

Think for yourself” is probably the most important advice an educated person can hear. Unfortunately, its meaning has become ambiguous.
