Indonesia’s Mount Lokon Volcano erupts again, 12 eruptions in 4 hours
After a relatively calm day yesterday, more explosions and ash emissions occurred today at Lokon volcano (N-Sulawesi, Indonesia). The time-lapse video shows one of them this morning.

Mount Lokon, on Indonesia's Sulawesi island, erupts on Sunday, spewing volcanic ash up to 3,000 metres into the air. The volcano has erupted 41 times since 1 September, but this latest eruption was the largest so far. The government has set a safety radius of 2.5km from the crater, which is now the most active volcano in Indonesia
