27 injured in wake of tornado in Aalen, Baden-Wurttemberg

A tornado that struck the neighborhood of Aalen in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany, left at least 27 people injured, mostly children.

The elements caught them unawares at a local campground. The tornado virtually destroyed the tent town. The injured were speedily hospitalized.

The damage from the tornado that ripped through Baden-Württemberg is estimated at 200,000 euros.
