A magnitude 4.9 earthquake has struck the Kermadec Islands, New Zealand at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles), the quake hit at 09:12:46 UTC Sunday 27th November 2011.
The epicenter was 168 km (104 miles) ENE of L'Esperance Rock, Kermadec Islands
