Several European nations are currently suffering from bad weather.
A powerful hurricane with downpour and hail has hit Poland. Gusts of wind tore the roofs off and hurled cars. Damaged power transmission lines caused blackouts in several regions of the country.
Downpour also hit 25 provinces in Spain, above all, Andalucía, where railway traffic was brought to a halt. The abundant precipitation destroyed almost the entire cherry harvest.
