5.4 magnitude quake reported off the coast of Chiapas Mexico

June 7, 2011 – MEXICO -The offshore 5.4 quake struck at a depth of 97.1 km. This comes as no surprise as we warned about seismic outbreaks along the Cocos plate during the Neuquen, Argentina quake swarm prior to the Puyehue volcano eruption in Chile. Stay tuned.
